Should I Compete in BJJ?

Raphael Carneiro is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Marco Antonio Barbosa and has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over 17 years. Raphael has competed and still competes in most of the main IBJJF tournaments such as Worlds, Europeans and International Opens. His most recent win came as a double gold medal in the medium-heavy and open weight class black belt division of the Kansas City Open. He hopes to repeat this feat at the upcoming Pan-ams. He is also a remarkable coach that has produced high-level athletes that have medaled at Worlds and Pan Ams as well. He is IBJJF Certified and is also ranked among the top 50 black belts in the world by IBJJF.

Rob Font


Rob Font is currently the #10 Bantamweight fighter in the UFC. He has a record of 16-4-0 with notable wins over Thomas Almeida, Sergio Pettis, and a Fight of the Night winning effort over Ricky Simon. Originally from Woburn, MA, Rob fought up the ranks of smaller promotions such as CES where he was the Featherweight Champion. He was able to blaze a path to the UFC in July 2014 with his outstanding Muay Thai and a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Though he does not have a fight booked there is no doubt that we will see big things coming from Rob. He currently teaches the Adults Muay Thai classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7PM
